Our Director, Jerrie Johns...

Jerrie Johns, the director of Sparkling City Chorus, is a native born Texan. She joined Sweet Adelines in 1963, and has been active in several chapters in the Dallas area over the years.

Her latest affiliation before moving to town was with the Rich-tone Chorus, 4 time International Sweet Adeline Champions, and are the current reigning champions.

Jerrie works closely with the Sparkling City Chorus musical staff and they put in many hours to prepare for the rehearsals so that vocal training and music education are taught each week. Every rehearsal is a learning experience for anyone willing to make the effort.

Jerrie is the proud mother of Jeff, and 2 granddaughters, Emilie and Caroline, who live in the Dallas area.

Jerrie brings much expertise with her as the new director, and is looking forward to many more years of directing the Sparkling City Chorus.
